*Sigh* and I’ll say it again *Sigh*.
I read this book in one day – I didn’t want it to end. I loved Dominic in Ms Kayn’s first book in the series Wildly, he was intriguing and interesting and we also got to see a little of the sassy Diana Spenner.
Seriously, you can not help but love Dominic from the get go. He’s so confused about what his appeal to women is but he knows that he has to get to the bottom of it otherwise his career will be over and he’ll have to go back to Russia where he can live in peace. His dilemma he loves the USA and he loves his hockey. What is a man to do? Well he decides to ask the one girl who’s always turned him down to act as his girlfriend – Diana. If he can find out why she doesn’t fall at his feet then he can use this knowledge to keep other women from harassing him.
Diana has a plan for her future. She wants to open a B&B what she doesn’t want is a sexy Russian Hockey player derailing her plans – or does she? She finds she’s very much interested to find out who the real Dominic is.
I absolutely loved this story. Dominic was just so yummy! He was this tough hockey player, but he truly had a heart of gold and the little insights he shared with Diana made me swoon and want to, yes, fall at his feet. There was one particular scene where I was tearing up, it was so romantic but also gave us a glimpse into the soul that makes up Dominic. Diana proved her mettle that she could take Dominic on but she could also let herself be herself and share her inner most thoughts with him. I loved the little glimpses of him playing hockey and I really enjoyed the way Diana staked her claim.
Ms Kayn tortures the characters occasionally but they got their HEA and now I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Is it October yet?
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
