Review Tuesday – Incandescent by MV Freeman

So I’ve been a bit behind in my review Tuesdays, I’m so bad, but I’m back and I will be more prolific with them!

I had the privilege to have a twitter conversation with MV Freeman and will say, we are both Crimson Romance authors. However, that didn’t sway me at all with my review. MV’s book had me hooked from the very beginning – who can say no to a sexy Alpha Russian?

Seriously there was something about Mikhail that gave me shivers, he was just so darn present on the page! My only wish was that we got more in his head because I adored the scenes where we were in his head and I’m a greedy sort of girl, I love to know what our Alpha men are thinking.

Laurie held her own against Mikhail which made for sparks jumping off the pages.  As she got to learn how to use her power, Laurie’s confidence grew and she was willing to take some chances. Still she held back on fully embracing it and what she could achieve if she did.

There were some twists in the story which kept you turning the pages to find out what happened next.

Another great feature about the book was that at the beginning there was a break down of the class of characters, like Elements, Tri Elements etc.  Also at the end is a listing of definition of terms.  I like stuff like this, I can get a real feel of the characters and how they fit int their alternative world.

I purchased this book and it was one I don’t regret paying for.  I can’t wait to read the next  book in the series, as I know there are more stories to tell.  I highly recommend you pick up Incandescent.
