There I said it!

What is a “Send/Receive Addict” I hear you ask. Well it’s someone that keeps hitting send/receive in their email program waiting for that elusive email to ping into their inbox or the carefully named folder just for that special person/company.

Being a writer waiting should be our best friend, if you’re a patient person, generally it’s the pain in the neck that never goes away!

Every writer, new or old, waits to hear from an editor or agent with the news about their submission. We all want either a call or email that says “OMG I just loved your story, I couldn’t put it down. I want to buy it!”

No matter how many books you may have sold, the waiting never gets easier and the news that you’ve sold your 15th book never gets old and dreary.

So I’m still in the waiting phase and I’m trying hard not to obsess about it. Now where’s that chocolate ……….
