Friday 13th – Great Day!

Exciting day today – Friday 13th July was the day I got confirmation of my title for my upcoming release with Crimson Romance.  My debut release will be called “Masquerade”. I so love this title and all the images it creates. The glamour and mystery of people in masks!

I also have a tentative release date of October 2012.  Oh my that’s only 3 months away!  The next step, of course, will be getting the edits, then seeing the cover, then doing copy edits etc.  I’m so excited to be on this journey, and to have you all with me!

One thing I’ve always said, good things happen to me on the 13th. Well I was born on the 13th so I was always going to have a black Friday birthday – why grimace about it, embrace it and enjoy it. So it’s something I’ve always done and with this journey to publication it’s no different.

On 13th June I received the request for the full manuscript to be sent to Crimson Romance. Today, Friday 13th July I received confirmation of my title and release date. What will the 13th August bring I wonder? I can’t wait to find out.

    Love the title. The whole process of making your manuscript a reality sounds so exciting. Yes, the marketing possibilities with masks, especially for a Hallowe’en-ish release, are great. Can’t wait to see the cover. We met at RWA12.
