My Journey Continues.

It seems like yesterday I was in New York attending my first RWA conference but in fact it’s coming up to 3 months ago! I can’t believe it. But it’s still fresh in my mind.

Conference was an amazing and a daunting experience.

Hearing authors speak about their journeys. The valleys they suffered through to reach the mountain tops of success and happiness are always inspiring. To find out how other authors work, what works for them and what doesn’t, all help in guiding you on a path to your own success.

While I’m still learning my path and veering off and hitting deadends I take heart in knowing that there are plenty of writers traveling that journey with me. And there will be plenty that will cheer me when I reach my mountain top.

Some authors journeys have been trouble free, others have traveled a road that had landmines every 100 metres. But something about both these journeys is that even though one may be easier than the other, neither one gave up and at the end they can stand side by side on that mountain and be happy for each other.

Romance writers are an amazing bunch, so open and caring. I’m glad I’m associated with them.
